General Advising

The ICC is open from 10 am-4 pm daily. During these hours you can come see one of our talented Student Advisors. Student Advisors are older students who have already interned in many locations and have been trained by us to help you with:

  • Resume and cover letter writing
  • Job or internship search
  • Your Aggie Job Link account
  • Transcript Notation
  • Preparing for the fair
  • General ICC services

Get advice from them or ask them about their internship experiences. Either way, they can be very valuable to you.

Tram Duong
Tram Duong
Senior, Nutrition Science major and Studio Arts minor

Tram's Internships:
Interning with VN CARES for the past two year was a great experience. I gained not just clinical and medical experience, but I, also, learned a great deal about my culture and myself. Who cares? VN CARES; of course!

Jessica Kim
Jessica Kim
Senior, Psychology and Communications

Jessica's Internships:
My internship opened my eyes to the importance of networking. Through my internship, I was able to interact with amazing people who have impacted my interests and ultimately the experiences and people I will meet in the future. I was first introduced to John Muir Health seven years ago as an intern, and returned this past summer as a volunteer. Along the way, I realized that I want to choose a career path very similar to those of the people I have worked with. That is, I hope to do work that aids others.
