The Diversity Leadership Development Program is a certificate program designed to provide students the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of differences, learn how to effectively and safely address complex issues, and learn how to maximize the gift diversity brings to any team, organization or workplace. The Diversity Leadership Development Program is a 3-quarter commitment, which includes an internship experience to help foster professional development. Students who successfully complete the program requirements will earn a certificate of completion that they will be able to list on their resume and will gain transcript notation.

Japan Children's Home Internship Program (JCHIP) Information Meeting

Spend summer 2010 in Japan serving as a mentor to youth ages 2-18 living in group settings similar to U.S. group homes. Camp Adventure International Information Meeting

Freshmen to graduating students! Become a summer camp counselor or teach swimming to children of U.S. military or U.S. embassy staff in Europe, Asia and the U.S. for 10 weeks, with weekends off for travel. Fall & spring opportunities are also available to recent grads and continuing students.
Free air fare, free housing, + $22/day stipend. All majors welcome!
Forty-four UC Davis students participated in Summer 09 in Japan, Germany, Italy, Spain, Korea & Hawaii. To participate in the summer program, attend one of the Leadership Accessment Centers for the day-long group interview on Saturday, November 21 at UC Davis or Saturday, December 12 at CSU Sacramento. Then train winter quarter and receive CRD 98/198 units.

Join the Camp Adventure (Camp A) team for a unique international experience. Be a camp counselor to children of U.S. military or U.S. embassy staff throughout Europe and Asia (10% in USA) for 10 weeks. All majors welcome! You must enjoy working with youth. Forty UC Davis students participated in summer 2008 in Europe, Asia and Hawaii.
Free air fare, free housing, a daily stipend and weekends off for travel are provided!

Accepted students will receive 60 hours of training:
