As the oldest campus ministry at UC Davis (we were founded in 1916), Cal Aggie Christian Association has a very long and proud heritage of supporting spirituality and promoting social justice. Ours is historically placed, new and still being written, and the fastest growing, worldwide movement seen in the second half of the 20th Century. It is scientifically supportable, not just a romantic utopian vision, and is relevant to all classes, all ideologies, and all nations of the world. The Green Party calls for a complete restructuring of social, cultural, and political life, especially in the developed countries. It seeks to broaden the ideological debate presented by the dominant political parties, who frame their arguments in terms of a linear capitalist system, to include a holistic systems approach to recourse allocation, waste reduction, and democratic principles. The Green Party stands in direct challenge to those who say there is no alternative to our current economic system. We believe if there is to be a future, it will have to be Green.
