Student Organizations

  • LGBT Resources
  • Asian Pacific Islander Queer (APIQ) - A support and social group pertaining to the API-LGBT community. This group hosts various public events to promote APIQ awareness and meetings to serve as a support network for queer and questioning API persons.

Career and Support Resources

  • LGBT Resource Center The purpose of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Resource Center (LGBTRC) is to provide an open, safe, inclusive space and community that is committed to challenging homophobia, biphobia, transphobia and heterosexism. We recognize that this work requires a continued process of understanding and addressing all forms of oppression.
  • Cross Cultural Center (CCC) - The Cross-Cultural Center supports and advocates for the institutional goal of campus diversity. Their work fosters understanding of and appreciation for the cultures, traditions and histories reflected in the campus community, as well as social justice.
  • Diversity Search - an organization that promotes diversity in the workplace by providing job listings, job search articles, and other resources.

  • Medical School Office of Diversity - vision is to create an environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds feel included and respected, produce a physician workforce that reflects the diversity of the state of California, and achieve educational and clinical standards of cultural competence that ultimately will reduce health disparities and provide the best care for all patients.
  • Minority Professional Network - an interactive career, economic, and lifestyle connection.
  • Office of Campus Community Relations (OCCR) - OCCR provides leadership in diversity education training, affirmative action, equity initiatives and campus community relations.
