Director General of the Foreign Service Visit: A visit from the Director General of the Foreign Service in which Ambassador Harry K. Thomas Jr. talks about his experiences in the Foreign Service and how students can become diplomats. Also included is Diplomat in Residence Frankie Reed.


Spring Quarter, 2008

Careers in Business: a panel of four successful members of the business sector. This panel includes Lisa Pang from Bryant Christie Inc., Sam Pence from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Brian Brockett from Union Bank of California, and Mark Holman from Haven Falls Motion Picture Productions.
Careers in Investment Banking: A panel of four successful representatives of the investment banking segment. This panel includes Jesús S. Argüelles of CalPERS, Nick Rich from Central Valley Fund, and Victoria Conklin and Anna Fricke of Sacramento Valley Farm Credit.
Standing Out and Moving Up in the World of Work - a special panel of successful African American professionals: A panel of four successful African American professionals giving advice on how they became successful and some of teh challenges they faced. The panel consists of Professor Lalia Kiburi from UC Davis, Donovan Davis of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, David Ewey, DVM of the USDA Veterinary Services, and Larry Broussard from Assembly Member Sandre Swanson's office.
